HydraForce recently donated $150,000 to the Wheeling High School Robotics and Manufacturing Lab to fund three more industrial robots that will teach principles of automation to high school students interested in manufacturing.
HydraForce regularly hosts career exploration events for high school students interested in engineering and manufacturing. Students from Carmel, Fremd, North Chicago, Palatine, Waukegan and Wheeling High Schools, and a group of students from several high schools participating in the summer robotics program.

HydraForce participated in CONEXPO, the largest construction equipment trade fair in North America, with a total attendance of 128,000 visitors from 150 nations. We were one of a record 2,800 exhibitors displaying the latest technology for construction equipment.
Each year over 400 Engineering majors from colleges and universities throughout the US apply to the HydraForce Engineering Internship Program. Only 15 students are selected to intern within the various Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines at HydraForce.
HydraForce employees exceeded their goal to raise $20,000 for hurricane and earthquake victims in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Many family members of employees were affected in those areas. The funds were donated to the Salvation Army Disaster Relief Team.
At the HydraForce Annual Wellness Fair HydraForce employees held a pet supplies drive for a Save-A-Pet “no-kill” animal shelter in Grays Lake, IL. The shelter staffed an information table at the Fair, complete with adoptable pets.
Our Production team was thrilled to receive a “Thank You” banner from one of our distributors, Womack Machine Supply of Houston, Texas, for putting in the extra hours to ship product from Chicago to the southwest for areas hit by hurricanes and flooding last year.
Every Christmas holiday season, HydraForce remembers one of its own, Sgt. Fernando Suarez III, with its annual Toys For Tots drive. Sgt. Suarez was an exemplary employee who was a Marine reservist who loved being able to participate in the Marine’s Toys for Tots Drive.
When a young Manufacturing Engineer was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident, his family established the David Field Award which recognizes an employee who exhibits selflessness, inspirational leadership, patience and continuous learning.
