A screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool-type valve intended for use as a
pressure regulating device for diesel engine applications, including variable flow
pump controls, fuel and oil controls. This stainless steel model is ideal for use in
SCR/EGR emission and exhaust control applications.
The RV08S-21F allows pressurized fluid to pass from port 1 (inlet) to port 2 (outlet),
while normally blocking fluid in the opposite direction.
The cartridge has a fully guided spool which is spring-biased closed until sufficient
pressure is applied at 1 to open to 2.
