PR50-36 Valve

U.S. Patent 7,137,406

SYMBOL:
PR50-36 Valve symbol

DESCRIPTION
A screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, hydraulic pressure
reducing/relieving valve with internal pilot and internal spring chamber drain,
designed to act as a pressure-regulating device for secondary circuits.

OPERATION
With inlet pressure at port 2, the PR50-36 will regulate a reduced pressure at
port 1 based on an adjustment setting. Once regulated pressure at port 1 is
attained, the cartridge shifts to restrict flow at port 2 to maintain regulated pressure.
The spool will shift to vent excess pressure from port 1 to port 3. Pressure at port 3
is additive to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio. Pressure at port 1 is additive to the valve
setting at a 1:1 ratio.

FEATURES
• Adjustments cannot be backed out of the valve.
• Adjustments prohibit springs from going solid.
• Optional spring ranges to 345 bar (5000 psi).
• Hardened spool and cage for long life.
• Industry-common size.
